Chris wanted to mount an HP iPAQ 2210 PDA with RAM Cradle to his Yamaha FJR1300. Chris had a friend re-engineer a custom adapter (third image) which attaches to the the bike at the front of the tank mount.

Chris goes on to say "Amazingly, the unit does not vibrate at all on the bike, it is easily visible with or without a tank bag and I am very pleased with it. As it is mounted independently from the handlebars, it stays in the same place while steering".
