John wanted to mount a Garmin StreetPilot III onto his Harley Davidson Ultra Glide and being a self-confessed 'chrome nut' and was trying to find a mount to compliment the Harley's trade mark look.

John says "I had it fitted within 10 minutes of opening the package. A quick electric's connection and I was out on the road for a test ride. The mount looks fantastic as is the quality and fit. I used the RAM-B-231CH U-Bolt Base W/Ball plus the RAM-B-201CH Double Socket 3" Arm and the RAM-B-202CH 2.5" Dia Base with 1" Ball. The mount fitted straight onto the Garmin StreetPilot III stock mount using the RAM-S-G1 Screw Pack On the road, there was absolutely no vibration shake whatsoever from the bikes handlebars to the GPS unit thanks again to RAM's excellent rubber ball mounting design".
