Andy has a Honda motorbike and has used the RAM mounting system to mount his Street Pilot. He has also customised the mount by creating an adapter which was made from a stainless hex bar. The bottom half of the nut (the bit with the holes drilled) is standard on all Honda Blackbirds and it has a 12mm allen key hole in the middle. A 10mm threaded bar runs down the headstock and has a large washer and a lock nut on the bottom. The other end of the bar then screws into the bottom of the adapter Andy created which can be tightened up using a 1/2" spanner on the hex. The top was then tapped out to take the standard RAM 1" ball. Andy has travelled thousands of miles since creating this configuration and says this setup works flawlessly!
